Our clinic operates on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. The territories that encompass Toronto are under a number of Treaties including Treaty 13, and in Scarborough specifically, the Williams Treaties. We acknowledge the enduring presence, knowledge, and philosophies of many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples living in the Scarborough region today.  As a speech therapy clinic, we also want to acknowledge the beauty of Indigenous languages and the value and importance they have held throughout history and continue to hold today.
