Sydney received both her Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology and her Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University, where her thesis research strengthened her commitment to evidence-based practice and integrating current research into her clinical work.
She has extensive pediatric experience working with preschool and school-age children in treatment centers, school boards, and private practice, supporting a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. Sydney is passionate about early-intervention services and takes a family-centered approach to therapy, prioritizing functional communication goals that create meaningful changes in her clients’ everyday lives. In addition, she has acute care experience supporting adults with swallowing and communication disorders.
Sydney is formally trained in the Hanen Centre’s It Takes Two to Talk® program for early language learners. She is dedicated to empowering children and their families through collaborative, individualized intervention that helps each client reach their fullest potential.
