Salam was born and raised in Ottawa. She holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. She speaks English, French, Lebanese Arabic, and some Spanish, and is certified in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words. She creates client-centred, culturally sensitive, and neurodiversity-affirming environments. Outside of work, she enjoys playing piano, singing, reading, watching movies, caring for aquariums, and peaceful forest walks.
