Salam is a proud Canadian who was born and raised in Ottawa. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She speaks English, French, the Lebanese dialect of Arabic, and a little bit of Spanish. Salam is registered with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and has completed the It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words certifications from the Hanen Centre.

She has experience working with both children and adults and is committed to providing a client-centered, culturally sensitive, and neurodiversity-affirming environment to support individuals in reaching their optimal communication potential.

In her free time, Salam enjoys playing piano, singing, reading books, and watching movies. She is also an aquarium hobbyist and loves taking peaceful walks in forests.
