Why Work With Us?

Use your skills to make a lasting impact.

Since 2015, Andalusia Speech Therapy has been changing lives one session at a time. We know that in speech therapy, there is no one-size-fits-all approach – we take the time to get to know the unique needs of everyone who walks through our doors (or joins us on Zoom). Our team has weekly virtual meetings from all across Ontario to reflect and gain valuable insight from one another, along with social events to strengthen those personal connections.

We believe that everyone has the right to communicate freely, and we are committed to helping others achieve this, both within therapy sessions and in our communities. We are a collective of individuals who are passionate about fighting for equality through the lens of language and communication. Our professional development events provide opportunities for learning that extend beyond the workplace and into our daily lives.

We challenge the status quo every day. We embrace diverse ways of thinking, cultural backgrounds, and languages to continuously learn and improve the quality of our services. We look forward to having people with the same core values join our team along the way and contribute to our growth and development!

At Andalusia Speech Therapy, we've implemented different perks that promote a healthy work-life balance, self-care, and professional growth.

We've recently updated the eligibility of our benefits plan, paid sick and mental health time policy, and education assistance program to include permanent contractors.

Other perks include unlimited time off, flexible schedule, supportive team environment, lived practice of diversity and inclusivity, and career growth opportunities.

Volunteers

Our volunteers play an important role by helping us create therapy materials, blog content, researching community resources, and much more. While volunteering with us, you’ll also get the opportunity to observe therapy sessions with clients to gain valuable experience and insight.

Volunteering at our clinic is a time commitment for you and our team. While we receive applications regularly, we do not have the capacity to supervise more than two students at a time. Therefore, there is a minimum four-month commitment, and the volunteer must be available a minimum of three hours per week.

If you are interested in volunteering at our clinic, email your resume to info@andalusiaspeech.com.

We are full and currently not accepting applications.
